Carbon Credit Policy.
Clear, accountable guidelines governing the purchase, verification, and retirement of Graphyte carbon removal credits.
Digital Delivery
All carbon credit purchases are fulfilled electronically to ensure efficiency and reduce unnecessary emissions. Upon successful payment, you will immediately receive an email confirmation detailing your order.
Once the corresponding carbon has been securely stored and verified, you will receive a digital retirement certificate. We do not ship physical documents or certificates.
Verification
Graphyte ensures that every ton of carbon sold represents a real, measurable, and permanent removal of CO₂ from the atmosphere. To guarantee this, our Carbon Casting™ process undergoes strict evaluation.
Before any credit is issued to a customer, it must be validated by independent, accredited third-party auditors who confirm that the biomass has been sourced sustainably, processed correctly, and stored securely.
Registry
To prevent double-counting and maintain absolute market integrity, all verified credits are serialized and recorded on a recognized public carbon registry.
This public ledger tracks the entire lifecycle of the credit, from its creation at our storage facilities to its final allocation to the end buyer. Anyone can view the registry to confirm the legitimacy and status of a Graphyte credit.
Carbon Retirement
When you purchase a carbon credit, you are essentially claiming the environmental benefit of that removal. To ensure no one else can claim that same benefit, the credit is permanently "retired" in your name (or your company's name).
Once retired, a credit cannot be resold, traded, or claimed again. We handle the administrative process of retiring the credits on the registry on your behalf, finalizing your climate impact.
Refunds
Because carbon credits represent a physical, permanent environmental action and are permanently retired from the global registry upon execution, all sales are final.
We cannot issue refunds, returns, or exchanges once a purchase has been completed. Refunds will only be considered in the rare event of a duplicate transaction or payment processing error on our end, provided the credit has not yet been minted and retired on the registry.
